DRIVEWAY CRIME SCENE
3.9.2003
|
When I first moved into the Woodmont House, the driveway was a patch of overgrown weeds and leftover rebar from a previously abandoned attempt at pouring a concrete slab, Our landlord Tim (aka Timbo, aka idiot, aka moron) had been promising a new driveway for about a year and a half and finally came through. So it was a typical Sunday morning, and my housemate Doug and I were getting ready for a long tough day of watching football. Suddenly, inspiration hit me: the driveway was cordoned off with yellow tape during the cure process. So with a little masking tape and Doug as a template, we made a body outline and proceeded to wait for rubberneckers to come by. Our street is a popular thoroughfare for walkers, and our neighborhood leaned towards the older, conservative, white demographic. It was so funny to see people walk by, point, and stare in shock all morning. |
