DRIVEWAY CRIME SCENE

3.9.2003

When I first moved into the Woodmont House, the driveway was a patch of overgrown weeds and leftover rebar from a previously abandoned attempt at pouring a concrete slab, Our landlord Tim (aka Timbo, aka idiot, aka moron) had been promising a new driveway for about a year and a half and finally came through.

So it was a typical Sunday morning, and my housemate Doug and I were getting ready for a long tough day of watching football. Suddenly, inspiration hit me: the driveway was cordoned off with yellow tape during the cure process. So with a little masking tape and Doug as a template, we made a body outline and proceeded to wait for rubberneckers to come by.

Our street is a popular thoroughfare for walkers, and our neighborhood leaned towards the older, conservative, white demographic. It was so funny to see people walk by, point, and stare in shock all morning.

Hook, line, and sinker!
